Intake Gasket Help!
Intake Gasket Help!
New to the forum. Glad to be here!
This is my first gasket change on my '92 RS. I'm used to non-FI motors, so this will be a new journey for me. Is there anything in particular that I should know about changing an intake gasket on a FI motor? Anything tough, tricky or tips to know about it?
Thanks so much!!

Re: Intake Gasket Help!
The only thing I can think of is to bleed off the pressure from the fuel line or rail. If the key has not been in the "On" position for the most of the day you wont need to bleed it any. TPI motors run 40+ psi and TBI's run enough you wont want it to spray fuel everywhere.
