getting rid of the CCS
i am looking to get rid of everything computer controlled , i own an 1989 rs and just wondering whats not gonna work with out the ecm
i know the ecm controls the , spark and fuel injected tbi , advance and 700r is controlled by it?, thats all i know of
i pretty much am swapping in a engine and trans 400/th400 its carbed , and dont want the computer in there
i plan on deleting a/c and heat(maybe on heat haven't decided), i also dont know what controls the speedo (a cable to the tranny i think but will it work with a th400? or do i need to buy new tech's ?)
i know theres got to be good threads to read but the terms i been searching haven't found anything specific yet

This will be an off-road (track-only) vehicle, right?
Because nothing else is legal.
