Is there any way to tell if these pistons are forged? pics

I bought this motor and was told they were forged but I dont have any paper work to prove this. Is there anyway to visually tell if its true? thanks guys

sorry, those are cast or hypereutectic, which is still cast. The giveaway is the underside of the piston. Those oil drainback slots. Forgings, all but the cheapest, have holes, not slots. Treat yours as castings or replace.

Thanks, I found summit hypertechs that look identical, markings(cross hatching) and the valve relief style so Im assuming thats what they are.

Except TRW 464664 has slots too. It's the L82 Forged piston (used to be offered through GMPP also). They tend to break off righty through the oil slot (the entire skirt comes off)
