Re: muffler. Yes or No?

I'd rather hear a mellow toned muffler than a buzz popping open exhaust.

The factory muffler is restrictive. There are much better replacement mufflers available. The older you get, the more you appreciate a good exhaust system. The novelty of an open or very loud exhaust wears off after a while.

Re: muffler. Yes or No?

Even my race car has mufflers. They're a race muffler and are not legal for the street but they quiet the exhaust enough that I can hear the engine. I got tired of putting in ear plugs just to fire up the car and take it out of the garage.

Re: muffler. Yes or No?

I have 1 car without. It's exhaust runs all the way out the back. 'Tis loud. Sounds decent.
I have 2 chambereds on my "toy" car. A lot louder and sounds much better due to tone.
