performance upgrades

ive got an 88 irocz 305 5 spd. looking to do some upgrades to increase performance. more hp more acceleration etc. what are some things i can do?

If you do a little searching I'm sure you'll find more than you need to know, but I'll tell you where to start: intake and exhaust.
