88' T/A TPI fuel issues?

Hey Guys,
I have just began restoring my bird, which I have let sit for far to long.
I have started it up and let it run for 5-10 min periodically over the past few years, always came right up no problems at all.

Now (when I pulled it in the garage) it was running rough as hell, I added 5 gal of good gas ( it was empty ) and now it wont start.

I hear the fuel pump running after I turn the key off and at teh test port on the fuel rail I get a little spurt of gas and that's it, no pressure after that

I know there is a filter on the pickup inside the tank but is there a in-line filter also?
I can t seem to find one

yes, there is an inline filter - if you put the car up, slide under it right in front of your driver side rear tire. Fuel filter will be right above your head.

If it ran out of gas (while running) there is a chance you cold have sucked a bunch of crap up out of the bottom of your tank....this would be your best scenario, and it'll just be the filter. If you need a new fuel pump get ready for a job if it's anything like my 87 Z - and i'm guessing it's exactly the same.

Actually i put a fuel pump on it about 10 years ago.... hehehehe all i remember is saying ahhh hell just cut the damm filler neck!

turn out not to be the problem anyway, I had a bad HEI module in the distributor.... and all my plugs are fouled.

I hate changing the damn plugs in these things
