how to get the intake off?

I was at the junkyard today and i found a camaro exactly like my own, dunno about the year but it was the same L03 TBI engine, I've been thinking about heads or intake or something like that so I was just going to take off the intake just to make sure it i was perfectly capable of doing so on my own car, so after i removed everything, the bolts on the intake, the distributor, tbi unit, throttle linkage, everything but the egr because it didn't seem necessary. so anyway I tried to lift it off and it wouldn't budge, i tried picking around it with a flathead and that didn't do anythign either, so i resulted to pulling from the bores and the thermostat housing, this did not work either so i gave up and went home, i'm not sure what i should do in the case, there isn't much clearance anywhere to get any good leverage with anything flat to stick between the intake and block of the engine to pry it up, any suggestions?

try a prybar or a wrecking bar with some gentle taps from a hammer.

Have you heard the saying, "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is?"

Similarly, if it seems like there's still a bolt holding it on, there probably is.

Did you take one or both valve covers off? If it feels loose, but won't lift off, its probably hanging up on the valve cover flanges.
