86 camaro, ver hesitant.
86 camaro, ver hesitant.
I was driving two nights ago and my 86 with a 305 and the quadrajet and 700r4 tranny began to drive like crap. I can barely keep the car running, i have to pedal the throttle to take off and the car just will not pull hardly. sounds like it is just dying out when solid on the pedal. car was running perfect until now. super well maintained and easy driven car. no check engine light or any other lights glowing. any ideas?

Is the choke opening and staying open?
When you say "choke out", do you mean too much fuel and not enough air, or it just sputters and dies?
Are you getting a squirt of fuel in the carb when you open the throttle? Basically, are you sure it's getting fuel?

Choke out as in the car idles down then sputters and dies. car is getting fuel, i can pedal the car and keep it running but not very smoothly. the carb on the car has been rebuilt two times, i believe it is finished now.
