Alrighty ill start off like this, i was experiencing problems with my battery dying and car not starting so i had a newish alternator installed. problem seemed to be fixed but then two days later wouldnt start after going into the pizza place for a little bit. But it always seems to start if i let it sit for an 1 or 2. So ive been disconnecting the battery after everything until i could get the car looked at.

Now it had been backfiring so i had new plugs, wires, cap and rotor, and fuel filter put in. But yet its still backfiring and it putters when you step on the gas. Now im driving home from school today and the choke light comes on and my oil pressure drops my temperature starts hopping and my volatge goes all the way up and then hops form the top to the middle and then sits a below middle. Then i was driving home and the car shut off on me. and when i give it gas it doesnt want to move. Like a loss of power. So i need some help big time.

So any ideas would be greatly appreciated and sorry for such a long post.
