Oil Filter Adapter Needed? (pic)
Hey everyone -
I'm trying to figure out if I need a special, non-standard oil filter adapter for my 383. It was originally a '89 truck engine, and the local dealership said that it would have external cooling, and therefore use a special oil adapter.
Take a look at the pic of my engine block and tell me if this is special or just needs a vanilla oil adapter like this one from jegs:

PIC IS ATTACHED
Thanks...

Nothing unique about the block machining for truck engines. The adapter you linked would work fine.
