Help Loud PoP

I put a 350SBC with a edelbrock performer intake and holley 600 carb with shorty headers. I got it running so after stopping and staring a few times and making sure it moves ok I put a timing light to it. Once the timing was backed down to 0 on the tag and the carb idle adjusted out it started to POP. Im not sure where to begin to even try and stop it. Please if anyone knows what I did wrong or need to do It would be greatly appreicated

Re: Help Loud PoP

Let's start with why did you put the timing on zero degrees advance ?
It sounds like you're saying the problem started when you did that.
