Killing ME! Code 41 Cylinder Select Error

I have been working on this problem for months with no success. The car has a code 41 (no others in addition to it). I have replaced the ECM, swapped programmed chips with stock chips and verified all ground terminals with a test light. The car barely runs and is so rich you would think you could light the fumes with a match. Is there anything else I can check or that I might be missing with the tests I have already run? I have read everything written on this and cannot come up with any additional ideas. Any help would be very much appreciated.

89 350 TPI (see signature for full listing of mods).

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Killing ME! Code 41 Cylinder Select Error

Any chance that it could be linked to the grounding issue, even though my test light shows grounds at the designated pins on the ECM connectors? I am testing with the connectors disconnected and ignition on as outlined in the tech manuals.

Re: Killing ME! Code 41 Cylinder Select Error

Did you plug the original MEMCAL into the side of the Moates adapter?

RBob.
