Speedy Sleeve
I have a rear main seal that has been a bear to get to stop leaking. I found a scratch on the crank going front to back when I went to install the 2nd seal. I tried some 600 emery cloth to take the scratch out working around the crank to keep from creating a flat spot. Then intalled the new seal into the seal retainer and reinstalled. The seal appeared to fit tight all the way around and there was absolutly no groove in the crank from the previous seal due to the engine having less than 500 miles on it. My only option I feel now is trying a speedy sleeve, has anyone used one and had any luck with these and if so how hard was it to get installed now the engine is back in the car and running?

Re: Speedy Sleeve
Did you ever get this one beat?
I am in the same boat, keeps blowing rear seals and upon removal they are looking fine. Crank is new too.
Im going to try a "micro sleeve" and am wondering if you sleeved your crank with success?
Thanks.
