Powder metal rods

are the stock powder metal rods any good? I'm building a 350 that should be somewhere around 400-450 hp and 350-400 ft lbs. I plan to upgrade the rod bolts is the rest of the rod is up to the task.

Thanks-

Eric.

Re: Powder metal rods

Should be fine... same rods they used in the LT1 and LT4 engines, and the L31 Vortec engines as well. They are a pretty tough rod, when you use good bolts.
