I got a 1983 Camaro 305 TBI Crossfire Fuel Inj. I was just wondering where the fuel filter is at. And maybe you can help me with this other problem I been having with the car since I bought it a year ago. It has trouble starting when its cold, now, It does start every time after around 4-5 seconds of cranking. Do you think it could be a fuel pump or just a filter?? After it's warm and I shut it off then start it up again, It will spin for 2 seconds then fire over at a low idle of 5-600 RPM. Another thing I noticed, when the car is in park and I slowly rev it up, as soon as it gets to 1000 RPM's it will want to bog down. It will make it to 1000 then go to 800 then back up and down and up and down again when my foot is steady on the gas pedal. Do you think it's all related to the fuel filter??? I do hear the Fuel pump kick on when I turn the key it sounds like a somewhat low groan. Can you tell me where the fuel filter is and any tips on changing it. Thank you very much

The fuel filter is on the engine block on the passenger side. Its in the same place that the mechanical fuel pump is on carbureated cars.
