i dont want chrome pulleys not in to that whole look so my buddy gave me the idea of getting them powered coated and i was wondering if this would ruin them and throw something off any input?? i wanna get like black or gun metal i have found any that are at a fair price...

 

If it is done right that shouldnt cause any problems. I forget which companies make them in colored powdercoated finishes...
