I can't find any good instructions on installing the one piece rear seal into the adapter and whether or not im supposed to use RTV in corners of the last rear main cap like the 2 piece seal. Can any one give me clearer instructions?

I've already installed the rear seal into the adapter, and bolted it to the block just not sure if I was supposed to use RTV on the corners of the end rear main.

 

You should use it in the groove for the oil pan gasket.

 

So don't have to take anything back apart right. Just make sure that gap has RTV in it?
