Help! had an accident..
posting for a friend with an 80s fbody... recently lost control of his car in bad weather (was cut off by a 18 wheeler) doing about 15-25mph..fishtailed, car skidded on snow and slid into curb on highway (which also had heavy snow/ice buildup on it from recent storm)...no body damage (suprisingly) except some marks on his ground effects, but heavy curb rash on rim from the hit...it sorta bounced off curb (the wheel).. as in, it hit the curb (during the fishtail) and then subsequently bounced off, and stopped..
car now has a 'pull' to the right side (same side hit occured). when you let go of the wheel, car will automatically pull to the right...somehting obviously was bent/damaged in the suspension.
im asking you experts...what parts were damaged in this (minor) accident? what would cause a 'pull' like that in the 80s fbodies given the circumstances? what do you think needs to be replaced? and how, should it be evaluated?
he says there is also a slight squeak from the same wheel as well when braking, but only at low speed and not every time (hit or miss with the squeak)...
looking for multiple responses and info on this issue... please help, i would appreciate it!

Can check the tie rods, and the sleeves, sleeves coulda striped out, make sure A arm doesnt look bent, and look at the idler arm see if it slid or bent.

Make sure that nothing underneath is band, such as the control arm, tie rods, and like it was said above, make sure that the tie rod sleeve has not been stripped. It may have just gone out of alignment without any damage. The same thing has happened to me, and that's all there was.

Re: Help! had an accident..
I would be looking for either a tweaked control arm, tie rod, or both. Being stamped sheet metal, the control arm is usually the first to give when that happens.
