need help my engine wont turn i have i believe everything hooked back up and all but when i goto turn the key nothing happens at all. its getting power because the gauges and all work but when i goto turn the key just water temp gauge moves and my racing tach and all light up idk though

Sounds like the starter. Can you hear the solenoid engaging?
If it is engaging but not turning the starter motor may be bad or it could be a bad connection or bad ground.
If it is making absolutely no sound check the voltage at the solenoid wire with it off the starter. It's a 2 person job typically unless you are creative but take a voltmeter to the wire and ground and have somebody turn the key.
If you have voltage then it may be the solenoid or starter itself.
Pop the starter out and bench test it. If it still does nothing replace the whole thing its cheap easy and a warranty is always a nice thing to have.
If it works on the bench and not in the car it is definitely connection or other electrical issue.
If you have no voltage then you may be looking the ignition switch or a broken wire.

maybe a little background would help, did it run fine yesterday but just stop starting today? Did you replace anything?
