89 T.P .I.wont start

Car: 89 Trans am GTA
Engine: 350
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: not sure
89 T.P .I.wont start
ok so I have this 89 GTA with TPI the engine was running when i pulled
it out to rebuild it. when i reinstalled it, it ran but it was missing real
bad, i think it had a bad injector. the guy i bought it from put a starter
button on the dash because he said the VATS module was bad. so i
pulled the TPI out and put in a carb. later i wanted to reinstsall the TPI.
but i never could get it to start,could someone give me some advice on
where to start on diagnosing the problem.
1. engine cranks over but will not fire up
2. engine has fire
3. not sure about fuel pressure
4. wondering about that VATS module

Verify that it has at least 35 PSIG fuel pressure. Test for injector pulses. If the injectors are not operating, it may be a VATS issue.
