I purchased a 350 w/ edelbrock performer rpm intake. I did some research and found its a good intake for my application, but when I installed the engine I only have about 1.5 to 2 inches to get the air cleaner on with the stock hood. The car is too nice to replace it with an aftermarket, does anyone know a part # or product # that I can use to find the proper air cleaner.

i looking for the same answer because i got the same question after a tpi to carb swap!

i will go for a dual plenum cold air intake but the mounth on the carb from the plenum is 3,5 inch tall.

i will now if i have that clearance with a edelbrock performer rpm and a holley 4160

Look for similar size air cleaner with a drop base ; can pick 1 1/2"
