91 Camaro RS Won't Start

I have a 91 Camaro RS. When i got it, i had to take a 60 mile ride to pick it up. When i got there, the seller told me that the only thing changed on the car was that the alternator was rebuilt. So i got the car and drove it back to my house. it ran fine. but the next day, i tried to start my car, the engine cranked, but it didn't fire. So i changed the spark plugs and the battery but it still wouldn't start. would i have to get a new alternator or would there be an issue with the distributor?

Because it cranked, you threw away your money away on the battery.

Slap yourself.

The alternator has nothing to do with it.

Now, you need to check for spark.

Grab an extra sparkplug.

Connect the threaded side to ground.

With a sparkplug wire hook the plug to the distributor.

Have a friend crank the engine while you observe the plug gap.

You will now know if you have spark.

We can take it from there.
