355 to 383 with 500tq?

355 to 383 with 500tq?

My goals are to build a 383 wth 450- 500 tq and around the same hp #s
The car would be mainly a street car with very little track use. So streetability of the car is a must.

I'm really close to buying an iroc with a carbed 355 in it.
the specs on the 355 are:

4 bolt main L98 -original block that came in the car
Honed, Aligned, Decked & Bored to 355ci

GM Performance LT4 Hot Cam

Comp Steel 1.6 Roller Rockers

Trick Flow Pushrods

Trick flow twisted wedge heads

Edelbrock victor jr intake

Worked holley 750dp

Summit free roller chains

Car has 1 3/4" headers
Built 700r4
3200 stall vigilant tc
all braces suspension parts needed to support high hp#s

My question is what can I use from the original setup and what else would I need to achieve my power goals?
I would like an idea of how much $$ I would be looking at spending as well

The block, maybe the rods.

500 lb-ft is a heap of torque for a 383. Not sure if those heads will support that.

Hope the TH700 is "built" well.

the transmission has a stage three bowtie overdrive rebuild with corvette servos.
450-500tq is what I'd like to see.
Just want to know what a good setup is for street use and what- if anything- can be used from this engine.
i figured I could use the holley 750 and of course the block.
