Need Maintenance Advice Putting TBI Back on Road After 5 Years

Hello all,

I used to be pretty actively involved in this site around 5 years ago, and since that time my 89 TransAM TBI has been sitting under a car cover, while I had to drive a more practical vehicle to work....with the summer weather approaching, I think it's time to unveil it!

Anyways, Over the course of the 5 years, I've taken the cover off, started it up a few times, changed the oil a couple of times, and removed some leaves and vermin nests from under the hood.

The car is in good shape physically, and mechannically there were no problems before putting her into hibernation. Sooo......what should I do maintenance wise to make this car be happy?

Right off the bat I'd be doing the oil and air filter. Other than that, not really sure what else. It has 90k miles, everything original except suspension, brakes, were redone 5 years ago. Should spark plugs be changed? Any other fluids that may need to be changed?

Thank you all for your help. I did browse the tech articles but didnt really see anything on this sort of thing, apologies if it exists and I overlooked it.

thanks keeslinger, is the fuel filter something that can be done easily, or does it require dropping the tank? I'd like to do as much as possible on my own to save on labor....also, how about getting to the plugs and wires? is that something that can be done from underneith, without say, yanking the engine out :/
