My camaro has been having some problems and has been making weird grinding noises whenever i try to start it. i think the fly wheel is going out. but whenever i tried to start my car last night it wouldnt even crank. every time i turned the key from acc to start the fan stopped spinning and it wouldnt even start to turn over. could this be a starter motor problem?

 

Could be a bad starter or a broken wire going to it. If you the starter intermitantly cranks its most likely the starter solenoid, which you can replace separate from starter.
