2 days ago i got in a fender bender at stoplight going at no acclerated speed no cosmetic damage but paint chips to front spoiler were nocitable. the car started up fine i turned down my radio heard like a rattling sound like a pinball machine i thought nothing of it. i went somewhere parked started it up it fired up fine on way home at a stop light i pushed the break and the car shut off the check engine light came on, i put car in park and started up again wit no problem. next morning i entered the freeway everything was fine soon i exited the freeway i pushed the brake and the car shut off. this time it wouldnt turn on. i assumd it was the battery i walked to walmart close by brought another battery same deal nothing. next i call family and freinds and they suguessted alternator or starter. i got the car towed home took starter i be tested it came back fine. o brought new one anyway had it installed by a freind still nothing. when i turn the key it doesnt turn over just hear one click sound. he ater had me put the ca in nuetral while he looked at the fly wheel he infomred me it was hard to turn while down there when he was tweeking the fly wheel it tunred alittle like someone on thre last breathe tring to breathe but something was blocking the airway. after that he told me he belived the engine was froze. another family freind told me it could be the compression causing it not to fire up he said at slow rate speed no front end damage highly unlikey to damage the engine like that. want people advice before i look into getting my enine re built

 

One way to tell if it's locked up is to pull your spark plugs, and put the car in neutral. Take a breaker bar and a socket to fit the bolt on the crank pulley and try and rotate the engine. If you can rotate it, she ain't locked up.
