quick dumb question...
what is the best way to get the rod caps off of freshly pressed rods?
forged i beam rods and ARP rod bolts.

got it done the caveman way... i used 2 small pieces of wood a foot long and hammered in wood shims to seperate them. lol.
it wasnt bad and didnt cause any damage. everything is still in spec not to mention perfect for OOR on all of them.
