How Much HP Am I Looking To Loose?
305 TPI.
Got a stock ECM on the way. Finally have had enough of this Jet Performance chip installed by a PO.
The minimal gain just isn't worth the cost in gas due to the rich condition it causes, not to mention the higher octane requirment, fouling the oxygen sensor and also setting a code 44 every time I go to drive the car.
Whenever you start the car up, the exhaust fumes have the ability to kill songbirds within a 10 mile radius and you actually will get sick if you stand to close to the car.
So my question is, I know It's not much, but realistically how much HP am I looking to loose both at the flywheel and the rear wheels by going back to a stock ECM?

firedemon you need 14 to 1 I dont understand your question you may have an o2 sensor,or sensor signal problem is an after market performance chip that's screwing it up

Re: How Much HP Am I Looking To Loose?
firedemon i think i got the jist now. That chip may be just a fuel dumper or it may not work well without air up grades, or it thinking it sensing too much air and it's trying to correct a lean condition ,back probe your o2 sensor you should have a rapidly changing voltage reading on snap throttle condition's(punching the throttle) ,a good o2 sensor will put out as high as .9 of a volt. Lazy o2 sensor's should be replaced.use a volt meter that has the fast reacting voltage indicator bar under the numbers like a fluke meter the little bar graph should respond quickly to punching the throttle

also you can test the o2 sensor/sensor's buy unpluging them a checking voltage while it's running ,but it will set a code if you do it that way
