Re: horsepower advice

sounds like a pretty good set up, good new is you should already be pretty close to your goal, because i have just about the same thing with around 230hp, i jsut need to get headers and intake and ill be set. what i would suggest doing is going with new heads, bigger carb, and a well tuned set up. be sure to do some home work on your transmission to. i heard if you get to much hp you will eat up the stock one.

Re: horsepower advice

What do you mean about tired? How many miles is currently on the engine/car? First thing I'd stay to do is make sure everything is running right and good (Firing on all cylinders, ext.) You want to make sure your getting all the stock horses before you try to add some aftermarket. After that then what g_port said would be the way to go. Good Luck!

Re: horsepower advice

400rwhp is close to 600 crank HP. Thats alot, especially for a small block. You'll need a MUCH bigger cam, alot bigger carb, and some top of the line aftermarket heads if you want to do this normally aspirated. Forced air is another option.
