code 43

i ran a scan tool and i came up with a code 43 wich is the esc and thats the eltronic spark control andim not sure what that is and waht i think the real problm is is that i have a 74 block and iv got no spot to put a knock senser so as of now i dont have a knock senser in my car any one know how to go about fixing this problm with my knock senser adn waht about the code 43 do i need a noew esc. i realy need help so far the thirdgen website has let me down no ones been answering my questions so if any ones got any thing to say to help me please help

From the info that you actually gave, I could only assume that you need a block with a knock sensor or maybe to look for something that emulates the signal that the sensor sends. I'm not exactly sure if they're made or where to find one, but then again, I'm not sure why you're running something with such an old block, or what the setup of the motor is, displacement, etc. Sometimes the key to getting answers with people here is details and very clearly stating them. I dunno.

the block it self is 74 i rebulit the whole thing and its a 350 and i put a tpi ste up on it no im trying to find a hole to put the senser in i also read i can thread a hole in the fule pump blcok off plate and mount it there

IIRC the knock sensor screws in where your block coolant drain plug is on your block on the passenger side above the starter . I hope that helps .

Yes remove a block drainplug and screw in the knock sensor .
