I just noticed at my local sunoco station they put up decals on the pumps that say "all fuel contains 10% ethanol. Refer to manufacturer for vehicles older than 1985". My camaro is an 84'. Do I have anything to worry about?

I have an 84 t/a and an 82 t/a manual that says the cars can use this type. I just get bad gas milage from it. around 12 and my 99 t/a doesn't get it's 24 anymore it get around 20. It has a different cam in in, not sure which one though. I had the engine builder put an upgrade
in it.

 

I have an 84 as well but I have never had a problem and I have been running it on 10% ethanol for a long time

 

just used ethanol (10%) for the first time this last week end. out side temps were high 90s my first runs each day were the only runs i had no trouble. id get 1/4 mile up the hill and it was like i ran out of fuel and would take several seconds to clear. i really think it was vapor lock due to ethanol....
