High Idle
Ok well I can't seem to figure out whats the problem with my car. The idle seems to be at 1,500 RPM and is pretty rough. On some days the idle is around 1,000 RPM and feels better but its still high. Any ideas what might be causing this?

'84 V6 was carb. There is a high probability that your choke is not opening up completely, leaving the high idle cam engaged. If the choke butterfly is not open completely, the mixture will be too rich, which can cause rough running.
