snaped a plastic part need part #
i was puting on chrome valve covers today and when i got to the passenger side i had to move a few things out of the way. well i got to this one piece that has 3 hoses total. 2 on the side in one direction on top of each other and 1 in another direction plus a vacum line on top. i got the 2 hoses and the vacum line off no problem but the 3rd house broke the piece that it was connected to so now i gatta buy a hole new piece and i dont know what it is. it has no part number on it and i think it might be for the ac or heater core. im at a friends house now and cant post pics cause of a slow computer. ill post when i get home. any help would be welcomed. its a 91 305 tbi

I believe that's the heater control valve. You don't need to know the part number, you can just go to your local auto parts store and they'll be able to get one for you.

should not be hard to find , g.m. used the same heater diverter valve on several cars . i got one at advance , about $12.00 1 1/2 years ago . BTW one of the hoses runs to a nipple near the distributer . might be a good time to change/replace that one . good luck .
