Buttoning Her Back Up (Advice Needed)

I have a 89 305 tbi and i have been working on the floor pans, so as of right now i have the entire inside gutted. I am getting near the end of metal work and am woundering if there is any thing you guys like to do before wraping it all up. like running extra wires or replaceing any thing that will be much easier now, then when it is put back togeter.

Also i have my exaust system compleatly unhooked, as well as my fuel lines and tank removed. is there any thing that would be much easier on the engine to replace, before i get an exaust on it, such as motor mounts or any thing.

This is my first restore job, any advice/tips would be helpful

Thanks

While the tank is out of the car, pull the sender, flush the tank, and refurbish the sender assembly, including a new strainer sock, and pump if applicable. Better yet, get a '92 tank, they had the internal baffling like the 1LE cars.
