accessory bracket help

TBI car now carbed. I'm deleting A/C - already deleted AIR. And I hate the stock brackets and the idea of the A/C delete pulley - I want a simple oldschool look. I'd like to move alternator to pass side, BUT keep serpentine belts.

1) Can I use brackets such as these to mount an alternator on pass side and remount P/S pump (to get rid of that bulky bracket)?

Alternator: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BILLE...Q5fAccessories

P/S Pump: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ALUMI...Q5fAccessories

2)Will this belt routing work? (the blue dot is the new/moved alternator, and I'm assuming I'll have to change from a reverse to a standard water pump)

Re: accessory bracket help

you may still need a tensioner. you also don't have much of the belt touching the crank pulley...you may have a slippage problem

Re: accessory bracket help

Re: accessory bracket help

These brackets are usually universal but check these places before and see what you can do as far as research between the ebay ones and these companies kits.
