Ok.. So I get up a little late (day off) and decide that im gonna take the advice given on here and go see about fixing the door locks.. well i got to disarm the alarm system and i dont get a response.. i figure maybe the battery in the remote went.. so i open the door manually.. Well I get in the car and i smell this wierd burning smell.. im like what is that smell.. i didnt notice anything immediately so i go to start the car.. nothing.. so now im freaking out.. then i look at the cigarette adapater and see that there is a huge bubble and melted plastic all over the place.. now mind you since i purchased the car i have never had anything in the cigarette lighter thing.. but yesterday when i was cleaning the car I found the factory cigarette lighter thing that plugs in so i threw it in. well it appears that someone must have rewired something and there was some kind of short only it didnt blow a fuse.. instead it must have just kept building up heat.. now i looked behind the face plate thing and it looks like all the wires are ok.. they did not burn.. just the cap to the plug in melted.. so im thinking just the battery died.. i put a jump box on the car and try to start but nothing.. so i start looking at the fuses and they all looked ok.. i unplugged one of the big silver fuses and when i took it out the interior lights came on (keep in mind i have jump box on the car now).. i plug the fuse back in and now the car cranks.. i am guessing that I lucked out (early talking here) tht maybe the only thing that burn was the cap.. but the problem is that now i have this big buldge on the side of where the cigarette lighter goes..can this even be replaced? I know you can buy the face plate but what about the whole piece that comes out from the dash?? is that replaceable? below is a pic of the piece that i need.. like i said its not the faceplate its the part that goes to the dash.. i dont think this even comes off does it?

You need a new cluster. There are lots around. Take a look on ebay or the forsale forum.
