Need Help. I've tried everything...
The cooling forum doesn't seem too popular today, so I posted my cooling issure here. I changed my radiator, thermostat, and fan switch, and my electric fan still won't come on, and the temperature gauge goes up to almost the red line. I checked the relay...it's good. I hot wired the fan...it's good. I changed the fan switch, and I thought that would fix it. The fan still refuses to come on. I cleaned all the electrical connections with high speed electrical cleaner spray, and I double checked the relay with a nine volt battery, and the fan turned when I hot wired it. I saw the fan come on last Saturday, when I bought the car, but it hasn't come on since. I am totally stumped. Any help would be appreciated guys! This is driving me crazy.

Thank you for your post, but I already changed this switch out. The fan still will not come on.

forget the switch, wire the fan directly to an ignition hot. The other wire goes to a good ground. I ran this way for nearly 2 years without issue.

If you can't fix the issue with the stock setup you can always buy a fan controller relay...
fan controller relay from Autozone
Its preset to come on at 185 degrees and you just clip it in to the radiator and wire it to the battery directly(or close to it). I've been using mine now for about two months and haven't had any issues. If you want to go this route and want more info on the install just let me know

There are two sensors on the front of the manifold on tpi's the CTS and MAT....the one on the left is the coolant temperature sensor...check that sensor as it respectively is intertwined with the operation of the cooling fans
