Engine: L31 350
Transmission: 89 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.42 gov lock
engine and trans?
how much would an 350 engine and a good trans cost me?
the reason im asking is i found a car thats had the engine gutted and the trans is gone so those will have to be replaced

You need to be more specific, otherwise I can tell you engines and trans go for anywhere from free to a million dollars. 
A crate engine from GM goes for around $2500-5000 and a rebuilt 700R4 trans is around $1000-1800.
