What engine is a

305 Turbo-Fire 175hp? Like this label?

I have one on my air cleaner and I JUST recently found out the original motor for my car had been replaced. Would like as much info as possible please

what side is your dipstick on locruid?

you should be aware that stickers mean nothing...so lowered expectations is the way to go here...

Aye I understand that but the block casting matches to a 80-85. So the sticker MUST be wrong imo

Hehe yea I knew that once I started realizing a 87 flexplate didnt match mine :P Dipstick is on the right side of the vehicle (left if you looking at the motor from the front). I plan on putting in a 350 next year so its not THAT important to me, i'm just trying to satisfy my curiousity. I might just have to dig deeper on the block and see if I can nail down more info. Only thing I KNOW for sure is the casting which places it in the 80-85 305 catagory

its most likely a stock 305, probably a lg4. Nothing special. Would make a great boat anchor though...
