When shes on the road there is a exhaust smell radiating out of the air vents, i know its coming from the engine but dont know from where? has anyone had this problem?

 

May be coming from you cats didnt you say in one of your other posts you failed emissions?

 

yes i did but wouldn't the exhaust go down the bottom of the car as opposed into the car, im thinking the aerodynamics of the car would send the fumes behind the car if it were the cat? but that does give me something else to check. I have cleaned out the egr and am gonna take a look at the cat tomorrow.

 

They will come in stronger sitting at idol and come through vent system fan runs at super low speed all the time heater fan a/c to keep fresh air in car.
