I am going to be running an Aeromotive 1000 setup with a sump tank soon. What are you guys that have similar setups doing with mounting the fuel pump and filters? Are you welding brackets to the tank itself or drilling/tapping the frame?

I am sending a new gas tank and a sump tank to be welded up and am wondering if I should have brackets for the pump and filters welded on the side while i have the chance.

Anyone have pics?

 

fuel pump for engine in your sig?
sounds like way to much pump(not that its a bad thing) but for the money, i would go another route.
an a1000 is a 50/50 if you drive it on the street.
some have great luck, and some have issues with them overheating.

 

I am running a 383 LT1 with a D1SC procharger at 12-15 lbs so hpoefully this will work out ok.

I know a few people running this system and have had no problems so yea I hope I get the same results.
