OK, i have a 1982 Sport Coupe, Carbed 305 with 3 speed transmission.

The car turns over endlessly, but every now and then the car shudders like it wants to start, but never does. I kept the coke open with a screw driver and poured some gas in still nothing.

I have replaced the fuel filter, air filter, oil filter, oil, trans fluid, have done all types of gas 82? 87? 92. also when the car was runnning it has almost no acceleration, at 2500 rpm with cheap gas it would sputter and lose most power as well as tremour the entire ar while it was flippin out, but if i dropped out of that range it would run fine. with 92 gas it made it to about 3000-3250. i put all kinds of fuel treatments in it iso heat feul injector clearner (i know no injectors, dad said it wouldnt hurt anything...), octane booster, with all of these it runs GREAT for like 20 min then it gets even worse than stated above, then after a day of that it goes back to what is stated above.
