Anyhow, everything wired correctly, when at idle checking timing, I only show spark WITH THE NEGATIVE TIMING LIGHT LEAD, ON THE POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL, AND THE POSITIVE LEAD ON THE NEGATIVE TERMINAL.



Is this bad? is there an error I can fix?

When I check other cars, the light works great wired correctly to their batteries.

Are you sure the coil is hooked up properly?

The negative side of the primary should be connected to the trigger; the positive side of the primary should be connected to battery voltage.

 

negative wire from dizzy to negative coil , positive to ign +

ill reverse it as this ford coil + and - may not be meant for the spots they are in, either it will correct it or not>

will this cause misfires etc?
