Fan sensor switch

So i was replacing a busted head gasket (1991 z28, 5.7 350 all stock)when i noticed that the sensor on the passenger side cylinder head was completely disconnected. It looked damaged and the wire to it was shredded. From what i have picked up on it is the 2nd radiator fan switch.

is this correct? if so where to i find a new wire for this?

Re: Fan sensor switch

You are correct. You can get a new pigtail from Advance Auto parts or other stores for about $8.
