Tuff Stuff, or Powermaster alternator?
Haven't seen many reviews for the Tuff Stuff alternators. Any experience with them vs the Powermaster that I see more of?
I was looking at this 160amp model:

I've had this 140amp PM below for several years:

I'm using the Racetronix fuel pump kit btw that hooks up to the alternator to provide higher voltage to the pump. It appears I'm not getting adequate voltage out of it and I'd like to get a strong, durable replacement.
Thanks for any suggestions. ..

I have a 100 amp powermaster. I have noticed that it doesnt like to fully charge at idle. I dont know if this is how they are susposed to be but I bought it used.

Just a FYI, just incase, use to be able to get a 108 amp ugrade alt for the 3rd gen from autozone for $60. What I got, many years of great service.
For the amps I couldn't beat the price.
