Walbro 255 on stock V6?

Hey guys, I thought I'd post this question here. I think the fuel pump took a crap on me today. Down the line I plan on building the car up so now would be the perfect time to put a Walbro in it. Has anyone ran one in a stock EFI V6 car? Any issues doing so? I don't think it should be an issue as the regulator/injectors should only use the "needed" fuel, but wanted to see if anyone else has an opinion. It'll be alot of pump for now but will be there later when I need it. Or should I just throw a stock replacement in now?
