Okay, trying to start on the conversion to a serpentine setup since its much more efficient. I have a 2 belt setup; belt 1 - Alternator, water pump, crank. Belt 2 - Power steering pump, crank, water pump.

Is there any setup that would just allow me to change the pulleys and retain the same water pump or would all of that need to be changed?

The water pump will be reverse rotation. Perhaps something in the following link will be helpful:

Re: 2 v belt to serpentine questions
Is your alternator on the pass side? If so, just swap pulleys to those on the 1/2 serp 1/2 v-belt setup. That way, you can keep your standard rotation water pump, and have serp belt on the important part - the alternator.

I have a 1992, and I hated the serp setup - big ugly brackets. I swapped over to the 1/2 & 1/2 setup and I love it! Nothing "inefficient" about v belts - they've been making cars run for the last 100 years!

I'm always amused at our human condition and its variables. I swapped to serp bcause I thought the V belts were ugly (and I felt they they cluttered up the bay)
