What are the normal RPM's at idle for 3.1 V6 cars? How about at 70mph?

IIRC, the idle speed should be listed on the sticker on the underside of the hood. Theres really no adjustments you can do, other than the min air adjustment.

Thanks. I think my trans might be on the way out in addition to that. When I started the car (cold) and drove it without warming it up, the rpm's went up to about 3500 and held there until I let off the gas and got back on gently. Then getting on the expressway the rpm's got near 4000 and I was only at 55 mph. Usually while I'm cruising at 70mph the rpm's will stay around 2700. Is this too high?
