Ive just got my set of 601, 305 heads done to throw on my flattop 350. my springs are good for about .600 lift on hydraulic flat tappet cam and ive got a single plane weiand intake. i will be running a t5 and 3.73 gears. anyone got a good choice for a cam to put in it. it will be street driven a little. so any help on a cam would be nice, thanks

 

I had a 350 with the 601 heads, flat top pistons, a 4-spd manual and 3.42 gears, and it ran REALLY well with an Edelbrock RPM intake, 750 Holley and Comp XE274 cam. Worked really well on the street.

 

how do you think the 601 heads would work with a stock l98 tpi motor with 137,000 miles on it
