im looking at this camshaft here r specs

what brand of cam, and what is the grind number just out of curiosity?
Also what lobe serperation and rpm operating range??
and are you running carb or FI?? Tranny type and stall speed?? rear end gear?? car weight?? type of racing or street use?? Need more info.

no stall beefed up 700r4 2.29 gear rear end and sorry i dont got lobe separation thats all the seller had listed but its part number is RA 102 3500 to 7200 operating range. I do plan on buying at least a 2500 stall

With durations and overlap in that range your 383 motor is probably going to need at least 10 to 1 compression ratio too. I recommend visiting Lunati's cam sizing program on their website.

Going to be a pig .
Engine will stall at 2500 but cam doesn't come in until 3500 ? With those gears you have to be doing 40MPH in 1st before the cam comes in.
What have you got in your engine that makes you think you can spin it to 7K?
With a 2.29 rear ; are you going to Bonneville?
6000 rpm with T700 and 2.29 rear =284MPH
